Watercolors

Return to Gallery 4 Main Page

I've occasionally experimented with watercolors for a change of pace. I find the process more relaxing than when painting in oils. Compared to my oil painting, I've had to become more daring with my use of color but at the same time learn restraint in the application of paint. Both were necessary to be able to best take advantage of the wonderful luminosity which watercolors make possible.
