Mesa Verde National Park
from Bob Cantor's National Parks Photo Gallery

A short but steep walk takes you to a self-guided tour of the Spruce Tree House, a well preserved cliff dwelling which is the third largest in the park.

The end of the Knife Edge Trail can be reached in an easy 1 mile walk (one-way) and provides a wonderful view of the North Rim of Mesa Verde.

We saw this coyote several times from the balcony of our room at the Far View Lodge.

Collared lizards are known for their willingness to pose for the camera. This fellow was no exception.
